South India, with its amazing temples and beautiful landscape is especially charming but we will also travel with groups into the equally unique and beautiful regions of North India, Orissa, Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Bengal and of course the Himalayan region. For centuries the people of India have visited their sacred, spiritual and cultural centers spread all over the country and we try to give our groups and participants in the tours a taste of that same spirit and essence.

3 Weeks of South India ‘Darshan’scheduled for Sept./Oct.’09 – This tour showcases the best aspects of South India with a week at Maitreyi in between for Yoga and Ayurveda. It gives the visitor an experience of the traditional culture and art forms, adventure and wild life, the sea beach and the hill station, the divine and ancient temples towns and of course the lush green landscape of coconut palms and rich paddy rice fields. One experiences both the vibrancy of the towns and the peace inherent in the rural village life.

Destinations covered are Cochin- Kaladi the birth place of Aadi Shankaracharya – Guruvayoor – Thrissur – a few days of rest and Ayurveda at Maitreyi then onto Palani Kodaikanal - Madurai – Rameshwaram – Kanyakumari – the Kovalam sea beach – Trivandrum.

3 Weeks of North India ‘Darshan’scheduled for Oct./Nov.’09 – The is a specially inspiring tour covering all major spiritual destinations of the North and concluding with a week of rest, relaxation and Ayurveda at Maitreyi giving the participants the taste of the South as well. We journey along the rivers Ganga and Yamuna in the North. The visitor will see the oldest civilizations, grand monuments and temples; witness the simplicity of the spiritual culture and the profound silence in the mountains and the rivers.

The towns covered in the North will be Delhi, Agra, Mathura, Vridavan, Rishikesh, Haridwar, Varanasi , Sarnath and Allahabad. Finally we will travel to Maitreyi for a period of rejuvenation and rest.
